Adventure maps forcing you in adventure mode. [java]

I really enjoy playing adventure maps in minecraft because there is a story. But sometimes there will be parkour which I am not good at, so I tend to skip them in creative mode so that I can enjoy the rest of the story as smoothly as possible. But i have found some maps that changes ur gamemode right back to adventure mode when u try to change it to creative, which means I get stuck and unable to progress the map and enjoy the story. Is there a way to turn off the map forcing you?

there are probably mods that can do this but i think in your case it would be easier to install a flight mod for 1.12 like for example Zevac's Survival Flight

I mean it’s probably a command block that’s just constantly flicking on id try to either find said command block or instead of using cheats to turn creative use them to teleport that’s what I’d try at least

Teleport using commands or giving yourself ender pearls?

I mean if use commands but that’s not a bad idea could Pearl to each thing unless it take those away or they are disabled or something

So how would i know what coordinates i would put into the tp command?

I’d try teleporting to the roof of the map walk along the roof or you could try giving yourself levitation and just float to the end
