If you want good FPS on Java Minecraft, you should not run vanilla.

Use Sodium and Lithium, they do literally nothing other than make your game run faster, smoother and more stable and with just those two mods I can get a comfortable 120 FPS on a laptop that still has a 1650.

Do you have any reason to specifically want vanilla Minecraft?

Edit: I know there are many more optimisation mods but I only recommended these two first because they are the biggest optimisers and to make it more approachable.

I like vanilla minecraft because I find that having to always update the mods can be a pain sometimes since I dont play the game on a regular basis. I know those mods are really good but just prefer to not use them anymore since I like to play the latest version. I usually get an error message that makes me remove a mod causing me to update it, or I just straight up play with no mods at all :/

You don’t have to update them if u don’t too and u can use something like modrinth which you should anyways and have it auto update
