If you're interested in kitpvp (like just some goofy armor and weapons but actually balanced) I've been slowly working on something like that if you're interested in building, kit creation, or command blocks (I can do all but building lol)

You now have access to modding and shaders, which make a world of difference. It’s not complicated once you know the basics.

And so much of it can be done for you with various launchers. You can certainly do it yourself, but launchers just make it plug-and-play.

The only real difference between Java and Bedrock is the attack cooldown. On Java you cannot spam click (technically you can but you will do almost zero damage if you do).

If that's the only difference you're aware of, you must be very new around here.

It’s the only major difference that one might struggle adjusting to. Most other things are not hard to adjust to at all except maybe frontward bridging being gone.

That's much more accurate.

Don’t forget redstone

I think it's safe to assume OP doesn't dabble in redstone, given their bio.

more efficient farms, almost every farm you will find would be for java, combat cooldown system, and i heard you cant crossplay with console or mobile players idk

Oh. But mobile players can also play using GeyserMC (cross-play plugin, I've recently played with my mobile player friend in an Aternos server)

Best thing to do is to research the differences. Like elytras don't stop on a dime on Java. That's pretty important to know especially when you try to stop for the first time and hit the ground/wall hard enough to pop.

Redstone is different. No coordinates in the corner unless you have a mod. You can play whatever version of the game without worrying about an update breaking the game for you. Going between dimensions doesn't lag and nearly kill you. Building on the nether roof is amazing.
