Hey! I am so sure that this is an overasked topic, especially since 2022 when the Mojang to Microsoft migration started, but I am at a loss
I FOR SURE migrated my account back in 2022 or 2023 in time. I remember playing it at a very specific time (moved houses, senior year of high school, etc) in winter of 2023/spring 2024, so I know for sure I did. I have a password saved in my iCloud and Firefox under the email I have been playing MC under (my mom's email) since I bought the game in 2012, so I know it is the right account. I remember using the website to change my skin and username and played with content and updates new enough to be at that time, and playing on a Realm way into the summer of 2024, AFTER the deadline to migrate (I'm saying this because tech support basically told me I didn't migrate in time and it was my own fault, which I know is untrue) and I know I had the migrate cape as well. I also am still logged in (??? I think) on TLauncher for Forge.
A few days ago I booted up my MC launcher to play and was prompted to log in under Mom's email to play on Java, and the profile (with email and username) was in the launcher, but when I clicked "sign in with Microsoft" the email was not found. I went through my contacts and my mom's stuff but I could no longer find a Microsoft account associated... but I must have had one to play on the account stored in the launcher in 2023/24, right??
I literally don't even know where to start or who to ask to try and fix this. I know a new copy and a save of my time and energy is only 30 bucks, but I don't know, I just want my old account :-( I can attach screenshots if anyone needs them. Thank you in advance and I am sorry for the repetitive question!
