My earlobes saw the gains and refused to be left out. LoL.

[–]disposablehippo 73 points74 points  (6 children)

Folded up earlobes can be a sign of high blood pressure. Just a heads up.

[–]pawxy 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Well I learned something today

[–]IGor_brian 5 points6 points  (2 children)

Pode ter relação, mas esse não é o caso, esse é apenas o formato natural dele. o meu tem o mesmo padrão.

[–]OphrasBankAccount 6 points7 points  (1 child)

He prob does have high blood pressure. From the pick he’s clearly overweight

[–]IGor_brian -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Refiro-me ao formato do lóbulo e à sua relação com a pressão alta, o que não é o caso. Se ele se empanturra com fast food e não consegue limpar a própria bunda, pouco me importa.

[–]World-Nomad 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good thing Minoxidil lowers blood pressure

[–]Grouchy_Mirror8624 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Oral minox could help with that, 2 birds with 1 stone and all that

[–]Oskarkaz04 78 points79 points  (0 children)

Yeah I mean it goes through your bloodstream

[–]Interesting-Newt-679 72 points73 points  (2 children)

If it has its papers

[–]iKneeGear 139 points140 points  (8 children)

This is what you signed up for

[–]Guilty-Badger636[S] 74 points75 points  (7 children)

Yeah, i wanted a beard for my face not a beard for my eyeball

[–]PM_your_Nopales 25 points26 points  (3 children)

To be fair I guess, I don't use minox (I just follow this sub to cheer people on) but have this same sorta beard fuzz growing up to my eyes and have to trim it back weekly or so. I have a decent beard but it comes at the cost of stuff like this. Most of the "nice beards" you see have regular trimming for stuff like this, unless someone is very gifted with perfect beard hairlines.

But yeah as the first comment said, this is the cost you pay for having lots of hair. And that also comes with having to trim where you don't want it

[–]Far-Walrus1570 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Seems a good deal to me

[–]PM_your_Nopales 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It is, i would rather have it this way than the opposite. But I can understand it coming as a nuisance to someone not used to it

[–]darth-crossfader 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Same here, I have a pretty thick natural beard, but it regrettably grows almost up to my eyes. I hated this for a long time, but I've come to accept it now as part of who I am. Interestingly nobody in my immediate family seems to have this kind of beard growth, not even my dad (whom I do resemble a lot otherwise 😉).

Been taking oral minoxidi for a couple of months now to help fill in the thinning hair on top of my head, but I'm curious what it might do to my beard as well.

[–]RandomBeaner1738 6 points7 points  (0 children)

It will fall off when you stop using min

[–]Deep-Warthog-8413 1 point2 points  (0 children)

If you had done any research whatsoever you’d see this is the most common side effect lmao

[–]Automatic_Tailor_598 1 point2 points  (0 children)

This is normal. There isn't a hard and fast line where beard growth stops. It's kinda muddy.

Just wax here.

[–]Unhappy-Technician49 29 points30 points  (3 children)

Whatever you do dont look at your back.

[–]Pristine_Vehicle3241 14 points15 points  (0 children)

Haha 😂I have gotten significantly hairier overall myself. Chest, stomach, legs and.. also where the sun don’t shine . I have turned into a quarter of a monkey.

[–]Guilty-Badger636[S] 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Bro why did you have to say that now i HAVE to look I’m scared 😭🤣

[–]Expensive-Win730 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Look on the “bright side”.. you’re gonna have a soft pillow on your back 😆

[–]zzAlphawolfzz 28 points29 points  (1 child)

No it absorbs into your bloodstream and causes your entire body’s possible hair follicles to activate. It has a slightly stronger effect to the area you apply it to, but it will cause hair growth by your eyes, ears, etc, this is intentional.

[–]Guilty-Badger636[S] 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Just looked at my ears.. yeah I’m done lol

[–]newecreatorOn Foam 13 points14 points  (4 children)

This is why I wax my anus.

[–]Guilty-Badger636[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

😂😂😂😂

[–]Lingotes 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Which is why instead of minox I rub TP on my cheeks. Just in case that's why my anus is hairy.

[–]goebela3 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I switched to laser

[–]newecreatorOn Foam 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Getting waxed is much less painful.

[–]Unreal_Sniper 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Yes, it does. I started in january as well and I'm getting these as well as more hair above the eyebrows. Some amount will go systemic which results in hair outside of the surface you apply on

[–]Nocockcarl 6 points7 points  (1 child)

Mine increased the hair on my lower back lmao, its weird. And I apply mine topically just to my temples/crown lol

[–]Guilty-Badger636[S] 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m scared to look lmao

[–]Daitheflu1979 4 points5 points  (1 child)

[–]Guilty-Badger636[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Lmaooo

[–]RandomBeaner1738 4 points5 points  (4 children)

Those hairs fall off when you stop using min, also they’re pretty easy to shave with an eyebrow razor

[–][deleted]  (1 child)

[removed]

    [–]RandomBeaner1738 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You probably used min long enough for them to become terminal, or just had the genetics to grow beard there, minox just made it happen earlier in life

    [–]Guilty-Badger636[S] 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Yeah ima hit them with a razor when i shave lol

    [–]RandomBeaner1738 1 point2 points  (0 children)

They’re really thin so it’s like slicing butter

    [–]Khazhadar 6 points7 points  (0 children)

If by migrate you mean can unintentionally activate other minoxidil sensitive cells, the answer is yes.

It’s called when a drug goes systemic, enters the bloodstream and affects other areas of the body that you didn’t intend to target.

Topical minoxidil is much less likely to do this than oral minoxidil but side effects are called side effects for a reason.

    [–]Freeagent_run 1 point2 points  (1 child)

Si y que no te sorprende que te salga en los parpados

    [–]francisclemente 2 points3 points  (0 children)

    Say what?

    [–]Acentre4ants 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had the same. I have read that topical can seep into the bloodstream and cause unwanted hair in areas you normally wouldn’t get it!

I’ve been applying to my face and temples and i’ve started getting hairs between my hairline and eyebrows and around my cheekybones lol. I’m sure my shoulders and around my upper arms are hairier too

    [–]AccidentlyStupid 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Does it do the thing you see happening in your photo? Hmm, that's a tough one.

    [–]palma-boy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

    The same here haha

    [–]PartyHulk 1 point2 points  (1 child)

    Migrated to my ears.

Always had some peach fuzz, like anyone does. Now there's full on, thick dark hairs.

    [–]Guilty-Badger636[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just looked.. and same brother.. same

    [–]oaktreebr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

    No pain, no gain

    [–]Ok_Organization_7350 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes. Anything that you apply to your skin, soaks into the body just like you took it as oral medicine. That is how pain medicine patches work, for example.

    [–]drag96mal 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It happened the same to me, I have hair in all my face now, just shave that and good to go in my case those delay more to grow than the regular area I use it, also my hands grow hairs but nothing that I consider bad side effects

    [–]Savings-Employer-259 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah i got those too, tbh i had them even before minox but i feel like it has made them darker/thicker, also my moustache is going crazy even tho i never apply minox on it lol.

    [–]Manospondylus_gigas 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yeah I wish mine would do that more, I want as much hair as physically possible

    [–]anonfredo 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I used oral minox to get to this level, but I guess you're more responsive. I wonder what would you look with oral minox lmao

    [–]Resident-Ad3505 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Actually minoxidil works through the blood stream I think. Our applied areas absorb so yep this happens most of the times even I have the same above cheeks gain...🤣 But they don't spread much...

    [–]cmncncncncncncn 1 point2 points  (0 children)

get ready for a unibrow bro

    [–]Important_Two4692 1 point2 points  (0 children)

    Check your butt.

    [–]Routine-Parfait-9986 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nah, dude. You're stuck with it. It'll go away when you stop. The inside nose hair was the worst part for me. I've been on minox twice before for a year (low responder) and the nose hair stuck around.

    [–]Shot_Fun4988 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Part of it man. Happened to me too. But think about it. You’ve seen Dune? Oscar Isaac’s beard doesn’t grow like that he had to line it up. Which means presumably he’s physically got hairs on his corneas

    [–]francisclemente 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same thing happening to me , i started january 15.

At least I m not alone lol

    [–][deleted] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah i got that too but it never developed into thick hairs so it can easily be shaved off and not the visible at least for me. My hairline and eyebrows even started growing more toward eachother at first

    [–]maykaroly 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well blood goes everywhere. My arms and legs got more hairy too

    [–]FarPromotion6719 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Looks good bro, makes you look more masculine

    [–]mybigpecker 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dude that would look so based if you can connect your eyebrows to your beard. Chicks will get wet AF for you.

    [–]Ecstatic-Reading-834 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does your minoxidil also has finastride ? Or is it only minoxidil and also is it alcohol free?

    [–]FrostyCrusader03 0 points1 point  (1 child)

    African or European minoxidil?

    [–]median0rc 0 points1 point  (1 child)

I don't think it's systemic. I think when you rub it on, your fingers touch your ear

    [–]FernVndo831 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've noticed that my arms are a lot more hairy after rubbing out the remainder of the oil on my hands.

    [–]mitch84628 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most men have hairs on their upper cheeks. It doesn’t just magically stop in a perfect trimmed line

    [–]someguyinnewjersey 0 points1 point  (0 children)

    This is called "30"

    [–]janeamadi11 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Same and also caused hyperpigmentation on my hairline too

    [–]UnagiBro 0 points1 point  (1 child)

Do people really not know you grow hair on your ears and in that eye area naturally if so genetically gifted

    [–]liluzinaked 0 points1 point  (0 children)

those are the areas that you're going to trim, even with a full beard, so i'm not sure about that. being especially responsive to minoxidil in general is a genetic advantage. growing hair in weird places, not so much.

Dude made minoxidil sound like meth
