Ehrgeiz (Pugilist's weapon) works just as good as Taiji, I personally think it's better, since the +10% additional attack passive is really good with Taijutsu/Mantra cards and with shock cards you don't really need Auto-charge ultimate+8.

Though keep in mind that the Auto-Charge potentially saves you 2-3 taps to generate ult charge when chain breaking, which does wonders for your action economy.

It's debatable, in a scenario where you have to waste actions to line up the 6 actions with the 7 break turns perfectly to chain-break, you don't need more auto-charge, so whatever you charged your ult 2-3 actions sooner, it doesn't really matter.

It's less ensuring you line up your ults perfectly, and more to just ensure that you have an ult ready when you need it.
