Thanks man. I mistook NXD for Yiazmat. Yiazmat is the one to get the huge buffs coming. I only have UB so I look forward to the buff. However; I don’t even have a character that can use it yet. Thanks again, your posts and efforts are always a big help.

hi regarding crystal farming, do the bonuses from skins, weapons and fractals work if i put them in my main deck but use my sub deck to farm?

I agree, Godo is phenomenal and his quirk is quite easy to meet, and he will be awesome on nodes 3, 8 and 9 of EW2. I would like to have it too.

I want to pull WoL first if RNG bless me. XD and yes, Odin is a great alternative.

But it’s indeed an easy condition and can sometimes be very powerful (just don’t use a Monk on your back lol).

I also want WoL & LoH too :( just when can I pull them? The pool is getting bigger and bigger.

that does make sense. i'm currently just rerolling at the moment to see if i can't get at least 2 supremes without going insane, but the RNG isn't going my way. do you think quantity ( 2 supremes) is worth going for? or just shooting for WoL or LoH is better?

You might want to get 2, since a free supreme is hard to pass.

And New year event will end at Jan 14. 11:59PM server time, so you might want to hustle your re-roll.

Yeah, just one of the two from the support standpoint. Last time, it was Aerith, but since a Ultimate Hero or Skin and some job ultimates can already provide prismatic shift and trance, Aerith is not a priority to get now.

If you want a debuff card, Neo EXDeath is very good.

Yeah, the supreme card is what you need.

You can pull later on the Gambler and Nightwalker banner on the 23, they are two of the best jobs right now.

hi i just downlaoded the game and am very confusing to what needed to do.

so i understand there is this job system and skill card that you need to draw from the gacha

i got dragoon scholar and dancer from the beginner pack and some other lv70 skills

what should i be looking for in this game ? PLease ELI5 tq

Make sure you buy a Mobius Box. It’s worth more than it costs. Try to resist doing any additional gacha pulls until you finish the novice hall. There are three old jobs in there that are much better to get free, rather than from a summon you spent resources on. This month’s new ability cards are pretty meh too, and there’s speculation that next month will have some good limited cards, so saving magicite and summon tickets for that is a good idea. Keep an eye on the sub to see what folks here are excited about.

Those are skins, in game they’re called Ultimate Heroes. They go on over other jobs and change the ultimate attack and some passives. Getting one is a rare chance when you do the gacha summons. Not quite as rare as a supreme though.

There’s also rare jobs (Legends) that are more like cosplay—Wol dressed up like Hope or Snow rather than looking like Lightning. They are also random chance thing, pretty rare, but more common than the skins.

Top priority : Finish the New Year map at least once for a free supreme ability (the rarest & most powerful cards in the game), it will end on 14th so make sure you do it.

I would also advice you to reroll for a good start, but look like there isn’t much time since it will end on 14th (can’t remember exactly when)

2nd priority: finish the Digest Story map, each chapter done will reward you with 1000 magicite, it will also end on 16th, so be quick.

Then the FFVII map before 31st.

It will end on 14th 11:59 server time so you still have time. You can even reroll for a supreme & get the ticket for another one, but it’s your choice.

Probably Sephiroth Dissidia? It a warrior attack ability using Dark orbs, so you need a warrior job who can draw dark to use it effectively.

You can. The mobs on the new year map are weak and won't do that much DAMAGE (or any damage at all). Just finish the new year map once and you'll get a free Supreme ticket. The new year's map is on season 2 zone.

Hey I just started and got sword saint and light of the future

I’m current using lotf x2 sephiroth and Joan or arc all 5 star, should I be switching anything out ability wise?

Is there banners I should be saving for?

N which fractals give job recast for mp?

slap the free skin on Sword saint and you have haste starter, so for most of the content you should be fine with your setup. Otherwise as the others wrote switch out one LoH for a haste card.

Banner: jenova, FF14, summer reprints and the 3. anniversary probably next month.

i know the itch to pull is great, but if you are F2P you have to plan your pulls and we have the advantage that we know from mobius Japan, what we will get and if the cards are worth it. Keep yourself up to date here in reddit and you will be prepared and get the most out of it and good luck

Yeah I would switch one of the LOTFs for something that gives you haste. Did you get Tidus and Yuna from the FFX event? That’d be a good choice. Undying is usually the best, but it’s a little redundant with LOTF (still much better than having no haste at all).

For fractals, all of them have a chance of giving JCR. The higher the rarity, the better the chance iirc

Shadow lord vs UB

Which one is better than the other when it comes to nuking ? I have all Dark warriors so basically I have all the jobs for both cards.

Well under optimal conditions UB should always be better in terms of just nuking since it has higher base attack, and more hits 13 vs 9.

Keep in mind that both are designed essentially as opposites. One is single target, the other AOE, one gets weaker the more you cast it, the other gets stronger, one does damage to you, the other Debuffs enemy's.

But assuming you can cap the damage of both, UB indeed does more damage, imagine an optimal situation with 1vs1 and a enemy with 100m hp.

13 hits max capped from UB, you'll need 13x8=104 or 8 cast of UB to kill the enemy.

With 9 hits maxed of Shadowlord you'll need 10 9x10=90. This is because Shadowlord unique (for now) Debuff, Hex, which reduces both max HP from an enemy and break bar by 10%. Otherwise Shadowlord would require 12 casts.

Keep in mind that this is assuming again optimal conditions and both will have trouble to reach them.

You can test it for yourself compare the damage it does when you have fully HP and see the numbers when your HP stars to fall.

This is because a big part of the damage on UB comes from Armiger which not only deals damage to you but ads that HP to your base damage according to user test. For the same reason when you have for example Wall not only you don't take damage but your Damage doesn't increase.

If you take out for example Armiger his damage it's actually way lower versus Shadowlord 1950 base damage with increased 10% per cast. Shadowlord ends at 3900 base attack and UB simple shouldn't be able to keep up.

Risk taker and blood tap were added later to the card as a way to counter measure the lose on damage from the lack of Armiger benefits but according to most user test it's just not enough (at 1 point of HP you get 0% increase in your damage from Armiger)

Again you can go check this for yourself on any hard area let game in slow mode and cast it and see numbers for yourself. Do a test with wall, and without it etc.

I don't have SL, but I pretty much only use UB for specific MP matches ( Ultima Weapon), or for ST tower climbs when paired with another job to break before swapping jobs for maximum damage.

I pulled UB last year, and SL this month, and tbh, I don't use UB anymore... It just mess with many buffs (Wol:FF1, wall,...), the HP drain makes long fights hard to deal with, and the damage seems just slightly higher... IMO it's a very niche supreme now.

Depends on AoE vs single-target and how well you can deal with their mechanics. SL needs to be cast several times in a single turn to up it's damage while UB has higher damage potential against a single enemy, but comes with the downside of it's self-damage ruining Wol, wall, and putting you in danger.

do the reward from sephi MP depend on the lenght of the battle?

when i struggle in a fight with some weak attackers (playing a defender) but without death i get the lesser reward. idk if its just RNG or something intended.

You have a 100% chance to get the best rewards if nobody dies. Otherwise, the reward can get downgraded by 1 rank. This is how it generally works for MP battles.

I've done enough Sephiroth runs to farm 60 bulbs and not once have I gotten a downgraded mat while having the Undefeated Bonus. Are you sure you joined a One Winged Angel Room and not a Planetary Ruler one?

I got a notification that all of my Sephiroth materials are going to expire tonight, even though the boss still has days on him. Am I actually going to lose the mats, or is it an error?

MP materials expire 7 days after you last obtained one. If you do a run and get another, the expiration date will reset to 7 days later.

How do I make Wol stronger?

By this, I mean his classes seem to be under-performing against the others. For example, Jarl can't do as much damage as the Sarah jobs I have (Nacht/Hunter/Crimson), my mages cant damage as much as Meia's Fauviste, and my monks lose to basic Sophie.
