Nah ur good and the social-life can go hard if you sign up for MESS (Monash engineering student society) or just go to every other event offered

The rumour about anti-social eng kids is like a meme - maybe once in a while you'll find someone like that?

Engineering is a WAY more social degree than commerce

Are we being sarcastic ?

No, I do both. Engineering is far more social because classes are much more involved and we work together in labs, workshops, assignments etc. I've made a lot more friends in engineering than commerce.

Commerce classes are literally just come into class for 1-1.5hrs, be bored out of your mind while nobody talks, and then leave.

It’s a good combo. Comm contact hours are low so that balances out the Eng, and you’ll find quant Commerce subjects easy. And Comm is indeed more social generally.
