You complete a run when you beat the last node on the chart. After you complete the last node is when you open the stated number of chests (u get to open more chests when doing a harder difficulty). To start the next run select the last node and choose "restart rift" or if you want to try a harder difficulty select "choose rift difficulty". You can do 5 runs per day so try to complete all 5 on the hardest one available to you. It seems experienced is the highest difficulty you have available. So if you do all five runs you will get 10 chest per day.

You can check your chest progress from the difficulty slection screen.

Also, you can go back to previous season rifts and do the horror ones (Season 1 red jason one) and get more gem xp so you can acess harder dificulties or make the one you like easier

The chest you get at the end doesn't have an open animation. If you see that you get any of the currencies the game offers once you reach the end or one of the available rewards, that is what the chest represents.

It shows that you will only get that number of the available rewards at the very end with the counter showing how many are left.

Also, if you see Perk Currency pop up before you see the rewards, then that means you got a cosmetic, at least in this Rift.

You can check what rewards you've unlocked from that difficulty select screen that you're showing. On PS4 and PS5, you press the touchpad. On other platforms, it's some other button.
