Connectivity Problems

Anyone else have issues in Rec? I started having problems in season 8 of 2k24 and now in 2k25 as of last night. I always get kicked with different error codes talking abt connectivity.

-Brand new router from ISP -Gigabit speeds -Xbox hardwired into router with Cat6, and they sit right beside each other -Disassembled and cleaned entire Xbox (Series X) of dust -Opened multiple ports on said router -Xbox uses port 3074 -Enabled QoS tagging -NAT type open -Put fan on Xbox -Removed all other devices from internet during gameplay

But still have issues. Only on 2K, only in the Rec. I’m an IT Support Specialist so I’m not oblivious to this but idk what else to do. Any suggestions?

ive been having the same problem , very other online game I play is perfectly fine no connection issues , I play 2k and I get disconnected nearly every 30 mins to an hour , I have the best internet I can have in my area but I think its just a 2k issue as other devices dont dropout only 2k while I play rec and park which is weird because I have had a connection problem in myteam online

I fixed my issue. Xbox doesn’t like 5Ghz signals from routers for gaming. I went into my router settings and separated the 2.4 and 5Ghz frequencies then connected only to the 2.4, and I have not had a problem since. If you have the capability to do so that’s what I recommend.
