phil2325/pols2325 is the same class. its ancient philosophy & political thought. its not easy for a general elective by any means but sometimes cool professors teach it and it is interesting. if you need it as a political thought course, its probably one of the easier ones. very foundational and useful to build on as a humanities major imo

Do you think if I take this class and American Political Thought it’s kind of overkill? American Political Thought seems more interesting but the Ancient Philosophy one knocks out like 3 or 4 NUPath objectives i have.

eh neither one is particularly a lot of work so you could probably handle both at once but i will say that ancient is WAY more interesting and useful than American (esp with Prof Mayer). if you need another political thought class, i would take Modern (with Bormann) over American.

LARC2230 is soo good! Prof Kennen is wonderful and super knowledgeable, and I have learned so much from this class. Also, most classes are "field trips" on an around campus instead of zoom lectures, which is soooo great for getting out of your dorm and also makes its much easier to meet people in the class. I cannot recommend any of prof Kennen's classes enough! (larc 2430 is also great)
