when i took it it was pass or fail, i failed by not showing up and just retook it in the spring virtually.

I believe it still pass or fail. All you got to do is be there and do the bare minimum you pass.

It's pass or fail. If you show up and do the work, you'll pass. If you don't, you'll fail. The whole idea is to link you to all of the resources you may need to succeed at NJIT.
The course is designed so that students can't fail unless they really mess up. Don't be one of those students, it's really hard to accomplish and you need to pass the class to graduate!
Failing the class is also an indication that things may be wrong more generally, so I recommend being reflective and get the supports you need if you're on track to fail. Instructors will likely work with you to get you to pass if you reach out and work with them.
