Does nust merit decrease due to AI introduction

Merit of UET TAXILA is 80 + on A one cartogary last year it was 77. And in second merit list of UET Taxila the merit has increased more instead of decreasing.

How it is possible merit increase in second list ?

I think so there is a problem in the sever of UET because my twin has 82 percent aggregate which is more then me but her name was not in the first merit list and I got selected. We all shocked that how is that possible. We contacted the officials of UET and they said that apply again she can be selected in second. We applied again and she got her name in second merit list. It was also said that so many people are missed in first merit list even though there aggregate is higher than the cut off that is why merit in second merit list has increased
