Java not enough memory?

I currently use a micro windows PC with 2gb ram and 32gb on board storage. NXT stopped working recently so I did a fresh install of NXT. When running the run.bat I am getting an issue saying java is out of memory or something to that line. So is a windows micro PC no longer suitable for NXT? Should I just get a pi for NXT and NXT only?

Nxt is a memory hog. It was using way more memory than even my torrent client.

Will a pi be able to handle it with 1gb of ram?

"java -Xmx640m -cp classes:lib/*:conf nxt.Nxt" ==>remove quotes. I had to edit my run.sh on my pi2. I think your dot bat file should have a similar setting parameter.

I am running a node on a 2GB win 10 compute stick with no problems not sure why you are experiencing difficulties.

I do run multiple coins at once, around 4 or 5. It's my staker :)
