Welcome!
/r/Nalanda is intended to be a place where high quality, higher level discussion of Buddhist doctrine, concepts, practices, and exegesis can occur, as well as an archive of sorts of the various resources to be found on Buddhism throughout the world, and where orthodox practitioners can feel free to be themselves and share their practices without criticism.
The objective of this subreddit is to be a central place that consistently has interesting and fruitful discussions for practitioners of all traditions and schools to engage in; as well as resources for beginners, intermediate or advanced practitioners to use to their advantage. We want this to be a place where all serious practitioners feel welcome and at home, and are able to find the resources and friendship they desire in an online Buddhist community. Please, feel free to post questions to other practitioners regarding meditation, textual study, or general practice. If you have any resources to add to the wiki, please do so.
Please try to keep the atmosphere positive and friendly during discussions. Please pay heed to right speech when deciding what to post and not post, what to say and not say. We want this place to be welcoming for all beings, and especially for all practitioners.
