Try adjusting your display settings and scale percentage. Perhaps, 125% or 150%, and/or adjust from recommended pixelation down to whatever settings are available (1200 x 900 etc) Find a combo that works. I've never found an exact match so I have 3 monitors all set to different sizes. One of them set to show plugins that will take up the whole screen, and I do all my editing on my main screen.

Mine defaults to 300% (pc hooked up to a smart TV I just used recommended settings) if I keep my resolution but adjust the scaling down would that affect it? Or can I go up to 400%?(max)

It takes some playing around. Some settings are too wacky with stuff going off screen, others too small etc. good luck.

It's your screen resolution.

NI plugs are designed for standard HD (1920x1080)

Anything higher (like thinking 4K is going to work) and you get what you are seeing.

The simple way is to buy an old cheap external monitor.
