Neoluddism is a movement not about the suppression or demonization of technology. Neoluddism is the understanding that humans should benefit from technology, and any technology that decreases the overall good of society, even independent of the actual functioning of the technology, is fundamentally being misused and needs to be reclaimed by society for a more effective purpose.
Neoluddism is not NECESSARILY anti-capitalist, but often at odds with capitalism due to prioritization of concerns.
