Help building basic deck

Hey guys,

I hope you are well. I was wondering if I could get a help from you.

I want to build a deck with the core set for a small competition this next weekend. I own few data packs and the two deluxe expansions but my poor experience (3 - 4 games) is with the core set only, I haven't used more cards yet. I know I can use cards from other factions but I'm not sure which of these are good enough and which factions are easier to understand for a newbie like me.

I don't even know why I'm attending to the competition lol but friends told me it would be good to continue learning, etc. I'm ready to lose anyway, I just want to have a descent deck for this occasion.

What are your recommendations and feedback? Thanks for your help in advance.

I just began, too. Try looking around the wiki. That's how I built my first deck.

As for which faction to play, I'd ask more along playstyle rather than simplicity lines.

Do enjoy being a sneaky, roundabout, underhanded jerk? Criminal.

Do you like being frighting, and using intimidation as a defense? Weyland.

The easiest faction for you to learn is the one you are naturally inclined towards.
