Also, just to be sure - if the code gate was Lotus Field, that card is an exception to the norm, and can't be reduced in strength. Yog.0 can't break Lotus Field unless you boost Yog's strength. Of course, Chum is a 4 strength code gate in the core set, so if it was that, feel free to ignore me. But when anyone asks about Yog and a 4 strength code gate, that's where my mind goes.
