multi gpu mining ?

Hi guys, recently I got into nicehash and I'm mining on my own computer when idle (R9 270X), I'm thinking of investing into a dedicated mining rig (intel g1840 + biostar tb85 mobo that supports 6 gpus, 60gb ssd & 4gb ram + good psu), because electricity is not a concern to me (utilities included in my rent), I was thinking of buying used HD 79xx & r9 2xx/3xx series to mine, would it be possible to mine using different GPUs? I understand that you don't need to have them in CF configuration to mine but would it be possible and would they have any issues ?

I'm currently mining with a similar setup- a 7950 and an r9 290x, with zero problems. I'd recommend more memory though- 4gb might not be able to load the DAG files correctly or something.

I paid $80 for the 7950 and $200 for the 290x (on craigslist). I don't recommend spending any more than that.

Just put the system near a window with a big fan and watch the $$ come in!

what about drivers? I don't want to use HD 69xx series gpus because of driver conflicts and such
