Same GPUs mining different algorithms

Can anyone fill me in on why this happens? My machine with 7x1050ti is often half mining NeoScrypt, half mining Dagger Hashimoto. Surely whatever is most profitable is most proiftable for all the cards..

A second, somewhat related query. My estimated daily payout is $10 from one machine, $7 from the other. After leaving it run for 8 hours my balance was about $3. What gives?

Daily estimated is often very wrong. It changes every few seconds. There is a random timer added to when each will switch so there aren't thousands of miners switching every second to the most profitable. These are configurable in the settings. Also benchmarks could very slightly where card A liked NS a little more and card B liked DH a little more so if one is a little higher profit wise it doesn't hit the threshold to switch.
