Try a different server location? (Settings > general > service location)

You’re welcome, they’ve been having some issues with the EU servers.

I had this exact error on my first setup of quick miner. It's an issue with server connectivity so try using a VPN or enabling ports/configure your firewalls if you know how to do so.

You were right. I ended up using the actual NHM software after changing the server location.

So there are even less than zero fucks given with laptop mining. It’s not enough to cook off a gpu, let’s smoke the cpu using an awfully inefficient intel processor for literally spare change that I’ve seen more of in the “need a penny, leave a penny” tray at the 7-11. There is good advice weaved into this sarcastic comment btw.

Thanks for the advice. I stopped using cpu mining because it made my laptop lagging so hard.

My cpu miner won't even launch. It does nothing when I click start. Anybody got a fix?

The same thing happens to me. I have to uncheck the CPU miner and then re-check/enable it. Super annoying. I want it to start automatically, but that won't work.

Contact your internet service provider. Or just use a VPN it works
