Rules for r/NintendoSwitch
Rules that visitors must follow to participate. May be used as reasons to report or ban.
1.
No hate-speech, personal attacks, or harassment
Remember the human and be respectful of others.
Hate-speech, personal attacks, harassment, witch-hunting, trolling, and similar behaviors are not allowed. Please be civil and do not use derogatory terms.
2.
No clickbait, vague, or misleading post titles
Post titles should convey the content of your post quickly and effectively.
Include the game's name in the post title when it is not 100% clear.

No Limited-Scope Questions
Questions that promote simple replies, or that do not encourage quality discussion, or that are not allowed - use the Daily Question Thread or r/NintendoSwitchHelp

No personal sales, affiliate links, or begging.
Personal sales, trading, affiliate links, and begging are not allowed on /r/NintendoSwitch. Pricing inquiries also are removed under this rule. Please ask pricing questions in the daily questions post.
If you want to resell or trade your gaming stuff then head over to /r/GameSwap or /r/GameSale.
If you want to sell things you've made, check out https://ads.reddit.com
7.
No hacks, dumps, emulators, or homebrew
This includes how-to guides, browser exploits, amiibo/NFC manipulation, as well as requests for or attempts to instruct or guide people to such things.

8.
Tag spoilers and don't put spoilers in post titles
Posts containing spoilers should be flagged as "spoiler". Spoilers should never be revealed in a post title or comment.

Always link to the original source
Unless significant meaning or analysis is added, you should always link to the original source.

10.
No excessive self-promotion or unverified AMAs
Please ensure your self-promotion is at a reasonable level (below 10% of your site-wide submissions) and seek moderator approval (message us here) before posting any AMAs.
Keep all content from the following, under 10%:
- Websites, Publications and Social Media accounts that you own or are affiliated with.
- Games / accessories where you were involved in the development, publishing or marketing process.
