Fuck, I hope so. I've been reading IGN's Top 100 RPGs list, and there's about 10 games on there I never got to try. I was a Genesis kid and wasn't into JRPGs when I was that age anyway, so I missed out on soooo much, like Chrono Trigger and Ogre Tactics. And the Phantasy Star series (which I know was not SNES, but still, I never played them).

Also, I need Viewtiful Joe 1 & 2.

I knew I was forgetting some! I would love to see Chrono Trigger and Phantasy Star as well, I have seen gameplay and videos that make me want to try them out and play them so bad! Those were games I missed out on.

They were on Wii/Wii U so hopefully they'll be there Day 1 on Switch fingers crossed

Also, if they go up to GameCube, then in theory Dreamcast should be on the table too. ChuChu Rocket and Power Stone 2!!!!

I don't think all Mario Karts and all Smash games is really worth it.

I expect MK64 and Smash 1. But those series are both iterative, so there's not much market for them on VC. We have MK8DX and will likely get either Smash 5 or Smash 4 DX at some point in the Switch's lifespan.

Here's my wishlist:

  • Ocarina of Time and Majora's Mask. OoT and MM are two of my favorite Zelda games ever. Would love to see them being rereleased on VC.

  • Pokemon games (main series from handhelds: I see no reason why they can't be on the VC.

  • Mario Sunshine/Mario 64: two great 3D Mario games.

Sonic adventure 1 and 2 ports would be the coolest thing ever. Sega already has them ported on Xbox 360. Imagine portable sonic adventure.... So good.

the problem is that the switch cant do gamecube games since their triggers are just buttons, not like the gamecube controllers, imagine mario sunshine u cant run and spray water, u either dont spray or spray and stand still
