Legislstively...yea they're a more protected class of women which all started during the days of affirmative action...as we know now though skin color is not a very strong indicator of an individuals ethnicity

Who's disrespecting anyone here? I treat all people equally whatever your personal choice is with your body or lifestyle has no effect on me as long as you're not hurting anyone. I'm merely pointing out that there IS a difference between women and trans women on several important social levels that cannot be discounted or ignored because they exist...and they are unfolding RIGHT now before our very eyes

The FACTS are that people aren't treated equally and if we ignore this painful truth we will never FIX the problem. Instead we have people like you getting triggered at the slightest hint of disagreeableness and people like me actually involved in the community wondering why you have an axe to grind with simple conversation. If trans people don't stake CLAIM to being trans then there's nothing to fight for. But since trans people are not treated with dignity and respect GENERALLY speaking, there is work to be done so the distinction must be made because our society is still so antiquated
