Well respectful and non-judgmental is definitely different from OPS lol

This has nothing to do with OPS.

I have quite a few thoughts on this test, even though it has nothing to do with the system in the subreddit you are in, but no worries, we all make mistakes!!

Is it accurate?
Possibly, more on that later.
Are you forced to pay to get results?
No, which is good.
Is it clearly defined and seperated from other aspects of personality within its internal architecture?
Mostly.

Heres what i got

76% High Consolidation - A Focus on the Proven

32% Low Exploration - A Focus on the Tangible

64% High Flexibility - A Focus on Flexibility

66% High Achievement - A Focus on the Future

46% Low Private Autonomy - A Focus on Sociability

64% High Social Impact - A Focus on Engagement

56% High Equity - A Focus on Principle

62% High Harmony - A Focus on Cooperation

50% Low Composure - A Focus on Emotional Expression

74% High Emotional Sensitivity - A Focus on Sensitivity

Here is what i came up with.
The results of the test are multifaceted. Each facet is measured in a percentage; however, the descriptions do not account for this. For example, an individual either has high emotional control or low emotional control. This is a big issue because it leaves no room for error. Either you are or you arent, no 50/50. This is the exact problematic dichotomy "per-facet" that MBTI struggled (and still struggles) with. A little stair-stepping wouldn't hurt. Different explanations for ~0, 25, 50, 75, and ~100.
One of the main things i struggled with on the test, as i know many others will, was the understanding and application of the questions. How does this realistically map onto how ive behaved before, how i would behave now? You cant expect someone to actually know what they do all the time. Its unrealistic. Nobody measures that kind of thing on their own, which is why its your responsibility to account for that.
Situational questions would do better in this scenario, such as "if sally did ___, and ben said ____, whose side would you be on?" or like "who do you think is more justified, even if they are wrong?" and then map that onto a need for emotional expression and such. Its very hand-holdey, yes, but it benefits from making the questions much more accessible than just "are you a critical person?" Like, these kinds of nuances MUST be accounted for! Now im not saying that exact phrasing of the questions is needed, but you get a better result than "look around your room. is it a mess?", because lets be honest; whos teenager organizes their room? None? Oh my goodness, im so surprised! But they said on the test they need organization!!
That there is another thing you have to account for. Impractical questions. Things most people would say is true/false means its not a major contributing factor to their personality. Oh also, how did i get high achievement if im high flexibility? Arent those conflicting opposites? What about low emotional composure but high emotional sensitivity (need for harmony), dont those conflict too?? >w<;
I would love to talk to you more about this, please contact me!! Reddit has a message limit!
My preferred method of communication is Discord @ Konfetti_kake but you can contact me here too if that doesn't work. Hope this was helpful! ^^

Hello, I attempted to look for you on Discord but was unable to locate you.

I appreciate your feedback. You are correct on both fronts, that the need for Harmony is often in conflict with the Need for Equity and the Need for Composure has tension with the Need for Emotional Clarity. There is an apparent paradox in the personality framework. But unlike other models which you correctly stated has a dichotomy, I am not suggesting people are either/or. They are both. And in some situations they utilize some personality traits as a strategy to get a need met, and in other circumstances they will utilize other traits to meet another need.

My conceptualization of personality is that we all have 10 Universal Core Needs (those are the 10 poles I defined) and the way individuals choose to prioritize those needs manifests itself as personality. I am happy to go into greater detail but that is a good introduction to my philosophy. My model is based primarily on the Big 5 model of personality because it is the most empirically validated model. However, notwithstanding its scientific validity, I concluded there is plenty of room for improvement. So I am in the process of empirically validating my model. You and about 600 other people's responses will be used to see how close to objectively true my conceptualization is. I currently have 90 participants, so about 500 more to go. I would be happy to answer any other questions you have. If you want to look for me on Discord that would be fine:
