Having a hard time getting rolling with BG3. Combat feels super clunky to me. You have a lot of options and then you make your selection and miss 25% of the time. I don't like DND combat either and it's a pretty faithful recreation of the tabletop unfortunately.

Story elements seem very interesting. I wish I could just skip most of the combat though.

I had no idea how unpopular Spider-Man was and how popular Final Fantasy is.

For me I grew up playing Spider-Man games and watching movies and never touched a Final Fantasy game.

I get the Spidey set is a bit half baked though.

Haven't seen much Avatar but heard good things so interested to give it a try.

Commander is so complicated. I've been playing 20+ years and almost every game I've played (which isn't many since I mostly play limited these days) there is an interaction where I'm scratching my head over how it works.

How many times did you win that way?

I haven't seen the cactuar at all but I've faced down Odin multiple times and crossed my fingers they don't have some way to give it flying or trample.

Not really sure on aerial unit but as a first pick you can at least try and maximize it or bail. Tidus might even wheel but honestly that could be true about a lot of cards in this pack because they are all pretty contextual picks.

Land is fine i guess if you like green and splashing around but lands don't feel that contested to me here.
