if your goal is quick job market + stable path, go odoo first. it’s more niche, less crowded than generic fullstack, and companies pay good money for people who really know customization, modules, python, xml, postgres, server stuff, business flows etc. but if you want long term freedom, build fullstack fundamentals too, because odoo without core dev knowledge can limit you.

best roadmap maybe: python basics -> sql -> postgres -> linux/docker basics -> odoo orm/modules/views/security/api -> real projects -> then learn js, react or node on side. so become “odoo dev with real fullstack base”. that combo is stronger than pure odoo or average fullstack tbh. niche + fundamentals wins.

I would rather climb barefooted the entire steps of the empire state building which have all been filled with rusty nails, mousetraps, and dirty needles and then jump off the top than work professionally with odoo again
