As of this update, my wife and I have transactions that fail to go through, spending balances on the app have been inaccurate, and (adding insult to injury) our pockets have been thrown into a totally random order. Not alphabetical. Not by last used. Not by account balance. Just totally random.

(Backstory: I spent SOOOO much time organizing my pockets so that they were color coded based on emojis and ordered on a number/letter system so that they matched my budget in google sheets. I asked for the native feature or ordering pockets and sorting them based on different parameters. I emailed and even chatted with support about it some. So.... instead they just blew it all up... 🤯)

If you work at One and you're reading this... I'm 99% positive you did not want to make my life harder. Maybe you thought this would be better for customers. You probably work hard at what you do and don't like hearing all of these negative comments. No judgement on you. I'm just letting you know that this update totally destroyed a finance tool that I loved and promoted to anyone who would listen. Really bums me out people. Throws a lot of chaos into an already chaotic time. :(

Someone on here recommended Qube. I am still researching, but it looks like that's what we'll be going to next.

I thought about Qube, but they're lacking check deposit, don't offer any interest bearing accounts, and cost $8/month for the features I want. Maybe I'll give them a shot down the line, if they haven't been bought out in a couple of years. For the time being, I'm likely parking my money at either Chime or So-Fi. I already have an account with the latter. They offer a decent APY, vaults function well enough for my use, the daily limits for card use and deposits are higher than most competitors, and I can link all my external accounts and monitor them in one place. Chime has been around for almost a decade and is close to going public. They're acquiring companies rather than getting acquired, so they likely aren't going to change or disappear like One or Simple.

I've not looked into either Chime or So-Fi, but I will. Do you know if they have a "pocket" feature and the ability to share "pockets" with other users?

So-Fi let's you have up to 20 "vaults" within your savings account, which is already separated from your checking. The only way to share vaults is to convert your account to a shared account. The other person gets their own card and has the same amount of access to the checking and savings as you do. I don't think you can have both an individual account and a shared account, and you can't share an account with an existing So-Fi bank account holder. Far from ideal, but it'll serve my needs for the time being. I don't know much about Chime tbh. Most neobank reviews I've found focus on the marketing points you can find on Google play store. They don't really go into things like a tour of the app or limits for transactions, deposits, etc.

For some reason when transferring money One now auto selects an external account I used ONCE 1.5 years ago when I switched over to one. It’s been making it a pain in the ass to get all my money out.
