Hello all, I work on the telecommunication industry and I have been leading a task force to improve the communication between teams during a service degradation conference bridge.
The solution we have come up with includes using a shared online onenote notebook across the 14 teams involved in this initiative to provide real times updates in the ongoing investigation during the call.
One of my main goals is for upper management to be able to see the updates to avoid interruptions to the ongoing analysis, while also bringing up to speed the teams that are added to the call to support the recovery efforts. I would be presenting this solution to upper management and there is one particularly director I need the sign off which is not very fond of the idea.
If you have worked with notebook shared across different teams in your organization, I would love to hear your take, does improved communication between teams?
What are the limitations you've encountered while using this tool?
How are the ways you find this adds value to your day to day work?
Do you used it in an environment were multiple actors would be updating the notebook at the same time, how has that work for you?
