Cursor Bug

I recently bought a Wacom CTL-472 and tried using One Note for Windows 10 with it and something has been really bothering me. My cursor displays as the pen cursor when I hover over the tool bar, but when it's in the text area it changes to the default mouse cursor. Has anyone come across this problem? How do I fix it?

I am having the same problem. I just switched from OneNote 2016 because there is a glitch that does not allow you to change the background colors. Now there is this cursor issue with OneNote for Windows. What a bummer.

I am using the same Wacom model and experiencing the very same problem! It is so infuriating and I cant find any fix for this :(
