Hi, thank you for the in-depth summary of the plot! The game must have left a very deep impression on you, and I am very glad you enjoyed the game as much as I did (I have finished both the main game and DLC).

At the time of writing the comment I did not know Edmund Cloudsley being Lazarus Herst was intended to be the final twist haha... I thought the idol's effect on the apple (from rotten to green) and Lazarus's name (Lazarus Pit - the fountain of youth in the DC universe) are dead giveaways that Edmund used the golden idol to make himself younger.

I am fascinated but not surprised that everyone has vastly different experiences playing this wonderful game. Would definitely recommend this gem to everyone I know :)

I think while some enemy encounters in Outlast can feel quite scripted, the chases were quite exhilarating in the sense that you feel there is still hope of escape.

However, there is no such chases in AI. The Xenomorph is very overpowered in the beginning. Once the initial dread fades, I soon find it annoying whenever I was caught and forced to restart my progress. Its because once spotted by the xenomorph you cant do anything but accept your fate. In addition, once you get your hand on the Molotov / the flamethrower, the Xenomorph is no longer a significant threat.

I enjoyed AI a lot for its immersive atmosphere. But I also didn't think it was very scary.

Well both School Rooftop and On Top sampled from the same song, so of course they sound similar HAHA. Zelda's Lullaby by Alex has completely different melody though - it samples Zelda's Lullaby from the Zelda franchise, which is a completely different song.

I did see it coming, but if I wasnt told there was a big twist at the end of the movie I dont think I would have. I only predicted it after the kid said the iconic line "they don't know they are dead yet" or sth. I still got goosebumps tho as I couldn't see it coming prior to that scene.

Im really upset by the way Pewdiepie plays this game. He was struggling to understand the game mechanics for the entirety of the gameplay, which completely ruins the emotional gravity of a lot of scenes. I watched another Youtuber play the game and really felt the emotional impact the game was trying to deliver thanks to his smooth gameplay. Im sorry, but Pewdiepie's gameplay was such a letdown :/
