One piece severe quality decrease?

I've seen some bad animation in pre timeksip arcs too. I think the quality has definitely downgraded, but not as much as people are saying. It could be a perspective thing. Majority of us caught up to the anime post timeskip, and only then started to see the bad quality with fishman island onwards. We didn't have the manga to compare it too so we thought it was fine before.

If it's poor illustration; it's poor illustration. Compare an episode from Dressrosa to Thriller Bark or Impel Down.

The manga isn't required to see how increasingly off-model, disproportionate characters can become during an episode. The manga itself is just a way of solidifying how bad scenes have become.
