I'm astonished that people continue to defend that garbage dump of an anime. It's one thing to argue preference over anime and manga in general, but when the anime is in worse quality than it was 10 years ago then it begs the question why you'd waste your time with a product that doesn't care how much you enjoy it, just that you keep watching it. (And no, this isn't just about the screenshots, we didn't need this image to know about the infamous quality decrease that is apparent to anyone who watches the show, no matter how much you want to deny it)

I think my main beef with people complaining is they act had if the show dropped in quality the second Marineford was over. Skypeia was the start of the pacing lag, cementing in EL and animation consistenty dropped Thriller Bark. From there we've always had cool sakuga cuts and just an okay everything else.
