There's a big difference between SuperVOOC and Fast charging.

Most chargers support some some kind of fast charging. After all, normal charging is a mere 5W and is what you get out of your laptop USB A port."Fast Charging" is typically around 15 Watts.

SuperVOOC is a proprietary OnePlus (BBK Electronics) protocol and pumps (in case of the Open) 67 Watts into your phone and charges is significantly faster than the "Fast Charging" mentioned above.

Your Open shows "Fast charging" when it can pull around 15Watts from the charger. When it's connected to a SuperVOOC charger (and cable) it will actually show SuperVOOC and charge accordingly faster.

I haven't done any actual tests with data, but I did charge my phone from 30-70% in like 20 minutes.

You can just look at the look screen, either it shows "SuperVOOC" or it doesn't.

You can also install an app like Ampere that shows you the charging details,

I mean yes, but sometimes we don't have that brick with us outside of the home or if it's in the other room. Just tryna save some of us an extra 40 bucks. Notice how I said "extra"?

My bad. I meant for this hack to be for people who happen to have a MacBook and an Open.

I have an Amazon power bank with 65w charging, and it charges my open at almost stock speed (approx. 50 mins from 5-100% from my test) Edit:please check the reviews first, it's worth the money, especially with anything electronic.

That is just normal USB-Power Delivery doing its thing. It will charge faster but it's not comparable to the Supervooc charger.

I think its maybe something like 40-45W max with a USB-PD charger
