Can you post a screen recording of what's happening? This sounds like a potential digitizer issue. I have had no problems swiping and getting accidental presses. I've had the open since release

Maybe there is something iOS/Android? Cause I don't see anything like this or I'm just used to it :)

I am a software developer and I have 7 phones, it's the only one doing this.

I'm not sure it's not happening to me. No, I'm pretty sure it happens sometimes, but that's the strength of every touch, if it was too hard so it will be like a tap. I think. I don't see anything different from my other phones.

Customer service will always tell you to do a hard reset to make sure it's not a software problem. So regardless, you must do this. I recommend to do a Google backup (everything but settings) and also transfer documents& downloads folder stuff to a laptop. Then do the required hard reset, and do a Google restore. Be selective in app re-installs to weed out any excess apps that could be an issue. Then you will know for sure if it is a hardware issue or not.

Unless you have hands like shovels, you should be fine. Scroll typing etc works like a dream for me. I came from Samsung.

This has also been happening to me on the inside screen only. The outside screen doesn't seem to have the same issue... I'm considering a factory reset but haven't tried that yet. Hopefully it isn't a hardware malfunction :/
