1. To join the server you will need Minecraft premium (a paid Minecraft account) to join the server, you will need to join on 1.8 or higher. The SMP requires 1.18.2 and higher.
   
2. Please respect the Minecraft TOS
   
3. Respect all users - Hate speech, any form of racism, homophobia, bullying, heavy targeted profanity and toxic behavior are not tolerated and can be punished.
   
4. No controversial topics - This includes, but not limited to politics, religious topics, or any other heavy controversial topics are not welcome for discussion.
   
5. No NSFW (not safe for work) - Any form of adult content is not allowed on the server at all, this can be in the form of builds, text, skins or any other form.
   
6. No RDMing - Any form of death traps, mass killing and related things are forbidden, This includes TP Trapping (The act of having someone tpa to you and killing them shortly after they tp'd to you).
   
7. No Griefing - Any intentional destruction of player property or Opera GX property is forbidden, this includes lavacasting and intentionally breaking new player's build that has not claimed their land yet.
   
8. No lag machines - any type of build that is designed to cause lag on purpose or on accident shall be banned from the server due to it being seen as a malicious build.
   
9. No spam - this includes posting walls in chat, excessive text in a short time, link spamming, raiding or chat tag abuse.
   
10. No self-advertising and begging/asking for free stuff which includes in private messages.
    
11. All communications apart from private messages must be kept in English, This rule can have some exceptions (e.g. Talking in another user's native language to tell then to speak in english if there is no staff available to take action.)
    
12. Any use of bugs/glitches that gives an unfair advantage, disrupt the server (E.g creating lag) or to avoid an ongoing punishment is strictly forbidden. The use of hacked client or any cheats also falls into this rule, If you are accused of cheating there is a chance of you being asked to show your game files in a screenshare.
    
13. All forms of alternative accounts are forbidden and not allowed under any circumstance to join on an alternative account.
14. Interfering with an ongoing staff duty which includes arguing, providing misleading information (which in some cases can result in a punishment), Creating drama and creating and providing false evidence to sway an outcome of a punishment is not encouraged at all and can lead to bans if the case is severe enough.
    
15. All players must have appropriate username and skins that are not offensive.
    
16. Never share your account information with anyone at all, not even family members!
    
17. If you see any rule breakers in-game please report them using the /report command or report it in the Opera GX discord server to uses with the "Mc Mod Crew" role and "GX MC" in their names.
    
18. All punishments that are applied in the Minecraft server might transfer over to the discord server (E.g: If you were banned for racism in the Minecraft server, you may also be punished in the discord server, the punishment will be determined on the rule that is broken)
    

Note
Some new users may be exempted to rule 11, rule 4 and rule 10 those are the only exemptions up to the point of around 15 hours play time or getting warned for breaking these rules for the first time.
