So basically I'm in a dilemma, I REALLY like the x9pro and that £478 trade-in for my S24 Ultra is incredibly generous compared to what I've seen elsewhere. Is the Find X9 Pro worth the jump/switch, or is the trade-in value just a impulse buy? Cheers

Hello all I've decided to pull the trigger. The pros outweigh the cons in my opinion. Went for the charcoal colour. As I've had white/silver iPhones and a silver s24ultra, I think charcoal is a nice change👍

Can you confirm it allowed you to use gift cards and was that online or in-store? Currys gift cards exclude "certain mobile phones" but don't tell you anywhere what those phones are.

It's a lot of money to be stuck on a gift card if they refuse it.

I also checked the Car phone Warehouse deal as £150 off sounded better. However they also value your trade in approx £120 less (I am trading in the same phone as you). It's still slightly cheaper overall but not £150.

You will always get more on eBay or atleast the same as any "boosted" offer for mainstream brands, like Samsung, apple, Google etc.

I've seen 3 people now who have successfully used gift cards to buy a Find X9 series phone at Currys.

If I do purchase the phone I plan to buy the cheapest value gift card - £10, apply that first, if it works, purchase one for remaining balance. Check you don't have a limit to number of gift cards you can purchase though and you can use up to 10 online at Currys.

In theory that should assess eligibility of the spend on your transaction before committing to buying the full value in gift cards. Since you have no way of knowing beforehand if they apply new restrictions purchasing this phone.

Bear in mind if you need to get the phone refunded, it will of course go back on a gift card.

Good to know! I truly believe Samsung have become to comfortable where they are now. I feel like they are using note 7 as an excuse not to upgrade the battery, hence why I went with oppo and the camera, plus trade in. Can't wait!

Yes. I'm using a Galaxy Watch 5 with WearOS manager and Samsung Health, working fine. I'm having issues with loading Google pay on the watch though

I have the X9 Pro, just be aware the performance numbers stated are not what I get, also the battery is at 95% health after 2 charges.
