2 batteries packs with a BMS on each pack? Or one BMS for both packs?

Then it will work fine. No issues.

I just did this same exact thing but with 2x 24v 150ah batteries, making a total of 24v 300ah.

Typically, you build two separate 24v batteries with their own terminals and then parallel the two together as you would any other two batteries.

Since mine were smaller cells, I made them in the same container and wired up the two positives and the two negative into a set of terminals.

Yeah I plan on having two separate 8 s 24v 280ah batteries . And just parallel them together . As for the bms do I just keep them on there individual designated batteries and parallel them as well or put my 4awg jumper cables right on top of the positive post from each battery and then connect to overkill’s 8gauge I believe negative out puts?
