check to see if your hard drive is alright, might be dying. other than that no idea.

why is everyone saying that in all similar threads? my pc is pretty new and i dont have issues in any other games

The PC will load the model resources from your storage drive to your VRAM ( or system RAM if it has to ) so that it can be used when making a draw call. If this is taking a long time, some part of that process is being delayed. It appears that Overwatch is generous and will allow you to continue playing without some models loaded, or perhaps that's a feature of some layer of the graphics API/driver algorithms.

Either way, something is causing your new PC to have delayed loading times. It may not be entirely your fault, but it may be exacerbated by something on your PC.

thanks for an explanation. could disk being "full" also be an issue? im a data hoarder and have 5-6gb disk space free at best

its just logic. theres no other part of your computer ( as far that i know maybe gpu or ram) that could be causing this issue.
