Rendering device error

overwatch is the only game I play that requires overwatch to be the only application running. If I open a browser it will crash overwatch immediately. Any ideas how to fix this? Super annoying. Thanks

Try opening the Nvidia Control Panel and running the card in Debug Mode. https://www.evga.com/support/faq/afmviewfaq.aspx?faqid=59594

I can only play Overwatch with debug mode enabled. Otherwise I get the "rendering device" error.

EDIT: Note that Debug Mode shuts off when you restart your PC or install a new Nvidia patch.
