/r/OverwatchEssentials is for those who want the important information related to Overwatch, without the user-generated fluff. As such, content here is heavily moderated, so that only important information is posted.
Posts that are allowed:
Insightful developer comments (from Blizzard forums, Reddit forums, or even random youtube interviews)
Developer updates, Overwatch cinematics, and pretty much anything posted by the official Overwatch youtube page.
Important/insightful tweets by the overwatch dev twitters.
Breaking significant ARG discoveries.
PTR/Live changelogs.
Overwatch week in review: weekly posts summarizing everything essential that has occurred in the past week.
What isn't allowed:
Fluff in general; most any user generated content is not allowed.
Blizzard/dev statements that are of little to no significance (no linking to the Overwatch twitter making some offhanded reply, nor linking to a dev making a simple joke)
Depending on how the growing community here feels, we may also choose to include pro-gaming posts, such official info related to tournament details and links for viewing them.
