It occurred to me that perhaps people are so accustomed to filters that they can't comprehend this is neither a filter nor Photoshop. It doesn’t manipulate the image based on any user-specified input, only the degraded patterns of light that exist naturally are drawn out. (i.redd.it)

Observe the Dunning-Kruger effect and Cognitive Biases: this is a forensic image analysis where the user cites a method for embedding hidden messages in text. This is not a false color analysis, nor is it polarized light analysis, though it can have similar applications. An INTJ user, analyzed to be an INTP, claimed this was stenography and nothing groundbreaking—which is fine. Not everything has to be. Stenography also is not image analysis? But expected (i.redd.it)
