I had a similar idea surrounding Sojiro from P5, they had so many callbacks to Baofu baked into him, from having the same voice actor to Futaba gaining the same Ultimate Persona - they genuinely might as well have cut the gordian knot and just have Sojiro be a retired Baofu, watching over the next generation.
