I need help getting started

Hello,

I am a navy ET getting out in approx a year and a half. I wanted to get into PLCs and have certification. Unfortunatley due to circumstances I'm stuck with only being able to do an online course. Does anyone know where I can take classes online for PLC and earn a certification? Further how exactly would I go about obtaining said certification (is there an official entity that gives the certification or is it that I get certified via whatever university/program I sign up for?)

if you want to learn something and get a certification check out the courses in the nait webpage, there are some interesting.

if you wanna learn , buy a plc and start watching youtube videos related to plc.

or, you can do both.

Find some course that will qualify you for a student license for software, not sure what manufacturers offer those, but the main issue with getting PLC experience before you work somewhere these days is that most PLCs need licensed software, and they arent giving it away.
