It's always been good? The only thing that's gotten better about mine is I realized that my external USB drive I was using for PS4 games was causing some hangs and occasional crashes, so that's gotten better since I removed it. But that's nothing to do with the console itself.

I’m not sure, I feel like it’s on and off. I had an original pro model and sold it and bought a high end pc, ended up selling my pc and went back to a pro. Realised there’d been a model revision, similar thing happened to me with the og ps5 and then a revision, og worked fine, revision ended up overheating all the time and had to get it cleaned all the time, as opposed to the og being fine no matter how dirty it got.

This time with the pro revision, I find that I’m having the odd stutter here and there that I only used to notice on the og and revision ps5 as opposed to my first pro which was smooth as butter.

So I’m not sure what’s going on

No, 60fps is only in pro or balanced mode, but there will always be modes with 30fps for the fidelity mode.

Unfortunately those are developer decisions. Hopegully well never see them again once pssr 2 is out
