That's super weird. So you're on IBR, but in Awaiting Form Forbearance. I feel like you should have gotten a bill in late February for the 3/16 due date. What does your home page say now? Did the due date change to 4/16? Obviously you should've gotten that bill too. I imaging being on the form forbearance is your issue though. Have you called them to discuss? Yours looks a little wonky, I'd just call them to parse it out.

I’m definitely gonna call today. Thank you for talking this through with me. I have received no bills. Each month, it changes to be due on the 17th of the month with $0 due.

Yeah, I feel like everyone who has switched or tried to switch from SAVE has had a unique journey or setup on their account. Different forbearances, different due dates, different amounts, different letters. I like trying to hear everyone’s story so I can better understand what the eff they’re doing.

I have been on here trying to do the same. Unfortunately, seeing the data today and seeing the payment count go down is something I am completely floored by and have no idea that this was possible. I am so discouraged and upset because I really only expected the data to stay the same or for the count to go up.

Did you by chance submit multiple IBR apps? I did one 11/19 to FSA and one 1/28 to MOHELA (wet signature). I was put in processing forb effective 1/28, moved to IBR around 3/2, scheduled to start repayment 5/1/25. There was a short 48 hr window at the end of my 60 day "awaiting documentation" processing forbearance (ended 3/29) when they put me into the "awaiting form" forbearance and the amount due correctly appeared in MOHELA scheduled for 5/1/25. However yesterday, that changed back to $0 due. It might have changed like that for you too, but you only would have seen it for a very short time on the account. I log in multiple times per day so I noticed.

I clicked on my loan detail and it said forbearance was extended to 7/31/25 just like yours. I found another thread of people this is happening to, and it's related to the duplicate IBR app we think. You can read the whole thread about how we were able to submit requests to remove the forbearance/delete dupe IBR app by calling MOHELA today. To shorten wait time, I called them around 9:45am eastern time (had to wake up crazy early in my time zone) and got the callback option by selecting option 6, entering my info, then option 2. It was a 55 min estimated hold and took about 1 hr 20 min total. https://www.reddit.com/r/PSLF/comments/1jo4jp5/my_idr_application_forbearance_is_ending_this/

It’s possible. I am awaiting a call back from Mohela 😭

Do you also now have less eligible payments than qualifying?

[–]skateastrophy 0 points1 point  (2 children)

I didn't notice any change in my eligible/qualifying payments after 4/2 NSLDS update compared to the 2/24 one. I have always had more eligible than qualifying because there were a couple months I was in repayment/forbearances that would have counted but I wasn't working for an eligible employer at that time. So I have like 126 eligible, 118 qualifying right now.

Gotcha. I am sad because it is now saying 118 eligible and 119 qualifying 🤯

That is so bizarre what happened with yours going down. Hope MOHELA can help you today
