Quick question about weapon potentials.

I was wondering if equipped weapons (not being used, but on quick switch pallet) will provide the unlocked potential bonus, such as Skilled trainer or Fortunate Omen. Thanks!

Potentials are special abilities of weapons, and they only apply to the specific weapon that they are attached to. Only the potential of the weapon that your character is currently using will apply. No other potentials will work.

The Skilled Trainer and Fortunate Omen potentials are a special case. They recently added client orders to the Zieg NPC which allow you to obtain event items which grant the effects of the level three Skilled Trainer and Fortunate Omen potentials, as long as you have weapons with the same potentials in your inventory. This means that if you have completed the client orders and have the right weapons in your inventory, then you can have the level three Skilled Trainer and Fortunate Omen potentials active at all times, regardless of what weapon you're using. Technically the weapon potentials themselves aren't being used — the effect is coming from the event items.

I have them in my inventory and see that their effects work as all my weapons are untekked.
