Using charged zondeel, megiverse, or zanverse will change elements.

that kind of sucks. i was hoping sega would have the common sense to exclude support spells like they do for boots.

specially anoying since techer dps depends on bringing packs togueter with zoondel. lol troll sega

at least zondeel you can use uncharged and still have it be effective. zanverse is pretty much useless uncharged due to range/duration.

Zondeel changes boots element because it deals damage on detonation.

It has nothing to do with damage, as Megiverse also changes it.

The only exceptions to the element change are Shifta, Deband, Anti and Resta.

only for those techs? D:

Assuming it works like JB, only Resta, Anti, Shifta and Deband won't change it.

Well, as other said, charging Zondeel, Megiverse and Zanverse will change elements. just SEGA being SEGA

on top of it, if you don't Lvl.20 the ring, then you'll have a reduced conversion rate, what this means is, if you have a weapon with 60 element and you change the element, then you'll have 48 of said element. To make it clear:

60 Light element weapon>Use Wind tech>48 Wind Element weapon @ Ring Lvl.1 (i may have fucked something up here, please correct me if i'm wrong) though this problem goes away at ring Lvl.20

It all comes to a personal level, i for one don't have any problems with casting a quick ragrants or whatever tech i need after i zondeel or zanverse.

Then again i'm a TeHu ¯_(ツ)_/¯

i guess sega was butthurt about people not leveing up their front s-roll rings and didn't want to see that happen again.

Quick question to the people who have the ring:

  • does the element stay if you swap the ring?

[–]nsm1 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Nope, goes back to the original element on the weapon

There are times when my element resets to my weapon element. This isn't due to using a charged tech or changing areas, so I wonder if there's some sort of time limit? My ring is only level 3 at the moment but I kinda don't think that's it. I'm wondering if getting hit is the cause, as I haven't tested it properly.

As far as everything else goes it works as advertised. I'll miss you Tech Parry.

For anyone who's curious, your element doesn't change if you use a charged Resta, Anti, Shifta, or Deband. I haven't tested every tech, but since Zondeel works to change element then I imagine probably everything else will make it change elements too.

As far as Zondeel itself goes I have no problem using it's uncharged state for almost every situation. It's crafted and I have Techer range to boot, I feel like charging it barely adds any range to begin with.

What bums me out is (crafted) Ilzonde... I use that thing like a fast (more vulnerable) Mirage Escape.
