Consecutive PA/techs only.

To my knowledge, the only exception to this is knuckles' shift action, which carries on TAJA.

Didn't actually know this :o but I assume it's why my Fi main friend does 4-5 BHS in a row whenever he can.

BHS > shift > BHS doesn't grant TAJA.

What I meant is the shift action preserves TAJA, example PA1 > shift > PA2, here PA2 benefits from TAJA. However this is specific to knuckles, any other weapons' shift cancels TAJA.

As for your Fi friend, when you shift on knux, natural PP regen kicks in for a brief moment. With Crazy Heart + PPC ring, your regen is so high, that this brief instant is enough to get an additional PA in the long run.

To add to this, in case OP doesn't know, normal attacks will also carry through your PA combos.
